After a successful Spring release of “All That We’re Made Of” Brent Reed plans to jump right in to the next phase of media marketing by launching into a music video project.

“We’re looking to do something artsy with a bit of visual trickery,” says Reed. “I’ve spent hours scouring the internet for ideas and days thinking of creative little locales and it looks like we’re turning to our home turf.”

Brent reveals that the first video single will more than likely be “Sober” and will use some sort of speed adjustment during the filming process. He’s partnering with creative genius and longtime friend Ryan Woolfolk of Winning Loser Films in hopes of a Summer/Fall video debut.

In February Apple announced that iTunes had sold over 10 billion songs!  ”All That We’re Made Of” has now been added to this behemoth of digital distributors.

Brent Reed will be making an appearance at the 2010 Ichthus Festival in Wilmore, Kentucky.  Ichthus Festival was born in 1970 and now boasts gigantic crowds and is acclaimed as one of the Midwest’s premier Summer music events.  Acts this year include Switchfoot, Toby Mac, Reliant K, Disciple, Superchick and many more.

Brent will be showcasing on Thursday June 17th on the Edge Stage.

It’s a reunion! For those of you who don’t know, Randy John Marksberry and I went to high school with Tricia the lead singer for Superchick and have been friends with her sister Melissa and the entire Brock family for years now. That’s why it’s such a great treat for us to open for them! Superchick, John Reuben, Manic Drive and Brent Reed on April 10 at the Underground in Cincy, OH.!

We have some exciting news!  The new album will feature two instrumental tracks.  One will be end the album with driving retro beats and “decompose” into finality.  The other will open the album and include ancient text from a Latin Mass – a Requiem.  I’ve had the real pleasure to be able to partner with a modern genius of a composer.  Dr. Z. Randall Stroope has written and arranged a beautiful, epic melody around this ancient text.

Z. Randall Stroope has done music clinics in 37 states and 22 countries, and his music is often hear on national broadcasts.   Along with his teaching at Oklahoma State University, he composes and connects with musical ensembles across the country.

Hey everyone, we just finished The Underground’s Battle of The Bands 09′ Finals. It was a great night for all the bands. We all had the opportunity to play before 850+ fans, a panel of record label industry reps, and each finalist walked home with a hefty payout check.

We would love to personally thank all the bands that we competed with for making it an enjoyable experience. And would love to congratulate Harmon as 1st place winners, Advocate Seven as runner ups, Brent Reed placed third, and Irela honorably at 4th.

It was a wonderful night and we hope to see you all at a concert to come.
