Josh Seurkamp is tracking on the new Brent Reed album! Josh will be leaving his creative fingerprint on “Firing Line” and “Long-Awaited.” Here’s a bit about Josh.

“Josh Seurkamp is Cincinnati’s quintessential drummer/percussionist. His range flows seamlessly from exotic ethnic percussion to driving pop music and all points in between. As a general rule of thumb, if you’ve heard of any artist or group in Cincinnati, Josh has played with them. He is widely sought after for his defining creativity, his eclectic influences, his unrivalled performances, and his vast array of unusual instruments. Josh has played with Janet Pressley, Mike Helm, The Marshwiggles, Tracy Walker, Grace in Gravity, the Dowlands, Gwendolyn Speaks, and award winners Jason Dennie, David Wolfenberger, and Katie Reider – to name only a few. He has recorded on numerous albums, and he has performed on three film soundtracks.” We’re thrilled that about Josh’s contribution to the project!

Jonathan Willis Photo Shoot

Brent just finished his photo shoot with Jonathan Willis. The pictures turned out amazing! Here’s a bit about Jon.

“After being named one of “Blackbook Raw’s” most cutting edge photographers, Jonathan has barely rested his lens. At ease in the commercial and indie scene alike, he runs from city to city and country to country–tracking down stories, makeshift studios and dynamic light.

Jonathan’s got a trademark style of juxtaposing the ordinary with the offbeat and a reputation for being super down-to-earth and a born (humble) creative. Whether he’s shooting portraits of sinners, saints, doctors, rockers, blue collars or white, his approach is the same: find the balance between too little and too much. Force parameters to force creativity. And with a looking-glass take on time and good judgment, he sets himself apart.”

Willis has worked with CIO Magazine, Sierra Club, SubPop Records, EMI/CMG, Fortune, Cincinnati Magazine, T.V. Guide, YWCA, and IBM.
